Scope of Work

Xeriscape Front Yard

• Replaced the existing front lawn with a bold, water-wise xeriscape design built around flowing dual-tone gravel beds that wind across the full front of the property.
• Placed large accent boulders and rock outcroppings as natural focal points, set into the gravel beds for sculptural structure and contrast.
• Planted drought-tolerant ornamental grasses, perennials, and evergreen shrubs in defined islands to add color and movement while keeping irrigation demand low.
• Installed a clean concrete walkway and crisp steel edging to separate the gravel zones, with low-voltage lighting to highlight the boulders and plantings at dusk.

Backyard Pool & Recreation

• Installed a resort-style in-ground pool with an integrated slide as the centerpiece of the backyard, finished with a full paver deck surround.
• Laid organic, curved turf sections around the pool and entertaining areas for soft green space that frames the hardscape without high-maintenance lawn.
• Built expansive paver entertaining areas connecting the pool deck, patio, and home for a continuous outdoor living surface.
• Graded and oriented the backyard layout to preserve sweeping views of the Wasatch range from the pool and patio.

Fire Pit & Outdoor Living

• Constructed a circular natural-stone fire pit with surrounding paver seating area as a gathering anchor off the main patio.
• Integrated planting beds and accent boulders around the fire pit and entertaining zones to tie the backyard into the xeriscape language of the front.
• Added perimeter plantings and screening for privacy between the recreation areas and neighboring properties.

Finishing Details

• Installed efficient drip irrigation across all planting beds and a dedicated zone for the turf sections to minimize water use.
• Coordinated low-voltage landscape lighting across the front xeriscape, walkways, and backyard entertaining areas for a unified evening atmosphere.
• Finished all beds with layered gravel, boulders, and clean edging for a polished, low-maintenance result throughout the property.
