A sport court gets used more than almost anything else in a yard — not on special occasions, but on a Tuesday after school and in the hour before dinner, year after year. Measured per use, it’s the cheapest thing out there.
Most courts we build are multi-sport: basketball with pickleball lines, often volleyball sleeves as well. The part that matters is underneath. A court is a large, flat, rigid surface, and any movement in the base shows up as a crack or a dead bounce.
A sport court build includes:
- Sizing and orientation worked out for your lot and the sun
- Excavation, grading and compaction
- Concrete or asphalt base engineered for the surface above it
- Modular sport tile or acrylic hard-court surfacing in your colours
- Game lines for any combination of sports — basketball, pickleball, tennis and volleyball
- Hoops, nets, posts and pole padding installed
- Perimeter fencing and ball containment netting
- Court lighting, retaining walls and surrounding planting

Basketball
Full and half courts, with adjustable hoops, pole padding and the key and arc laid out to regulation or scaled to your space.
Pickleball
The fastest-growing game in Utah — one court or two side by side, with permanent net posts set into the slab rather than a portable net.
Tennis
Full-size tennis where the lot allows, and tennis lines combined onto a larger multi-sport surface where it doesn’t.
Volleyball
Sleeved posts set flush into the surface, so the net comes down and the court goes back to being a court.
Multi-Sport Combination
Two, three or four games lined on one surface in separate colours, so a single court covers the whole family.
Sizing & Orientation
Court dimensions worked out for your lot, and orientation set so the low sun isn’t in someone’s eyes at the hour you actually play.
Excavation & Grading
Cut and fill, retaining where the grade needs it, and compaction in lifts — the part that decides whether the surface cracks.
Concrete & Asphalt Base
Base type, thickness and drainage specified for your soil, then poured and cured properly before anything goes on top.
Modular Sport Tile
Interlocking tile over the base — forgiving underfoot, drains on its own, and available in a range of colours.
Acrylic Hard Court
Layered acrylic over concrete or asphalt for a true, fast surface with crisp painted lines.
Fencing & Ball Containment
Perimeter fencing and containment netting sized to the sports you play, so balls stay in and neighbours stay happy.
Court Lighting
